No one knows how the plague began. Now, touching is forbidden. Every person is a carrier. One accidental caress brings death.
But love transcends every ill, doesn’t it?
Once, there was a pair of beautiful souls. Elle and Robbie couldn’t obey the rules. They were the last, and the first, and the means to a cure. This is their story. It is no less vital for its brevity, for love is unending.
Someday, those who are Unblemished will form a new history thanks to Robbie and Elle.

This book To Die For of Jess Molly Brown’s is heartwarming. I think I cried through the whole story. Robbie and Elle are such beautiful souls. Their love was so real and meaningful. I can’t wait for the next book Unblemished.
This was so touching. I admit to shedding a few tears at the end. Elle and Robbie were tragic heroes who were strong, full of love, and courageous. They braved the ban on touching to find their fate...and their love.
This has ALL the feels, and I highly suggest you keep a tissue (or THREE!) close to hand.
While it can be read as a stand alone, it certainly made me want to read the rest of the story, which will be coming in The Unblemished.
Definitely a FIVE BOOKMARK rating for this one.
A high-five after an awesome play. A tentative kiss at the end of a date. A newborn’s grip on your index finger.
These special moments of touch shape and spice our lives in various ways.
But what if physical touch would literally kill you?
How would you live? How would you love?
These are the questions facing Elle and Robbie in Jess Molly Brown’s "To Die For," a prequel to the coming series, "The Unblemished." A mysterious plague has infested mankind, and skin-to-skin contact spreads the disease and results in death. Sterility and safety have eradicated succulence and sensuality, and every attempt to change that has failed.
Until Elle and Robbie decide they want more, that they want it all, and risk their very lives to take it. And in so doing, they might possibly save the world.
Don’t let the modest length fool you—"To Die For" is a poignant story, beautiful and bold with breathtaking tenderness. Elle and Robbie are dynamic, fascinating people that leap from the page and straight into your heart. Once they are together, they unleash a love that transcends death, and their bittersweet choice creates the budding possibility of an "Unblemished" world.
And with Jess Molly Brown at the helm, I cannot wait to visit there.
As always with Jess' writing, this story tugs at your heart and you can't get enough! Hoping for more in tbe near future.
